Slow cooking is one of the easiest methods for producing an amazing meal with little prep, little maintenance, and little clean up. Nothing beats coming home after a long day and having a huge chunk of savory meat with vegetables ready and waiting from an easy to make slow cooker meal.

Lack of planning is one of the most common reasons for falling off the wagon and making poor choices. The biggest goal of this series is to simplify the process of getting healthy and make it effortless – learning to take advantage of mastering making a slow cooker meal is a major step in the right direction.

Meal prep is easy when you can put five pounds of meat and ten cups of veggies in a big cooker that does all of the work for you. Preparing slow cooker meal also provides ample gourmet style leftovers for the next few days.

Slow cookers also take traditionally rough, difficult to prepare cuts of meat and turn them into irresistible, fall off the bone delicacies! Toss in some vegetables, herbs, and a little wine and you have an excellent meal with no work and very little clean up.

Meat does not have to be the main course in a slow cooker meal. Slow cookers are also great for soups, stews, chili, bone both and more. Time to get creative! Check out our recipe pages for more creative ways to put your slow cooker to use.
